FETAC Level 6 Patient Handling Instructor Course Regognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Qualtec are pleased to announce that they have been approved to deliver the Patient Handling Instructor programme by FETAC and have been selected to provide certification to this standard through the Recognition of Prior Learning Process.

In order to avail of this process learners must complete an Recognition of Prior Learning Application form.

The learner must complete the RPL Application form. This application will look for evidence that the learner has prior learning and experience relevant to Instructing and training and Patient Handling.

The learner will return the RPL application Form along with supporting documentation.

A Mentor is assess and make a decision on the application. The Mentor will provide feedback on whether the learner can progress to final assessment or requires further training (workshops etc)

Qualtec will be running a number of Workshops to assist the learner successfully complete the final assessments.

The learner then will attend the assessment day and complete the individual assressments (Examination, Presentation, Patient Handling Demonstration).
