  • Delivering an abrasive wheels course
  • Assessing learners knowledge and skills

Entry requirements:

Those attending this Abrasive Wheels Instructor Course should have a good command of English both oral and written. Ideally they should have some training experience and have or intend to complete a Train the Trainer/ Instructor course such as QQI Level 6 Training Delivery & Evaluation or QQI Level 6 Manual Handling Instructor

Certification and Accreditation: On successful completion of this Abrasive Wheels Instructor Course candidates will receive a Qualtec certificate valid for five years.

Post Training Support: We will provide post training support and advice to any or all candidate who may require it.

Course duration: This Abrasive Wheels Instructor Course is one day in duration.


Delegates who successfully complete our Abrasive Wheels Instructor Course will be registered on our online resource centre which will have all resources required to deliver the abrasive wheels course. This includes PowerPoint slides, guides, sample certificate, links to videos and other online resources and test.

Progression. On completion of this QQI Level 6 Manual Handling Instructor course learners can progress onto the QQI Level 6 Patient Handling Instructor Course, PHECC FAR Instructor Course, PHECC CFR Instructor CourseFire Safety and Fire Marshall Instructor Course, DSE/VDU Asssesor Course and the QQI Level 6 Training Delivery & Evaluation Course.
